Easy and quick. It also has bird calls and range maps to aid identification. My only beef is that although I registered my e-address, an email has not yet arrived in my inbox (an hour later) If that changes this app will receive 5 stars.

Only wish it had a feature to save your history/collection of seen birds

This app has helped me identify so many birds! I really appreciate that there are multiple pictures of each kind of bird that you can scroll through to make sure youve identified your mystery bird correctly.

Just downloaded this. But I noticed it does not contain any ptarmigan species ... and we have two: Rock Ptarmigan and Willow Ptarmigan. Also, right on the e-mail page where I saw this app promoted was a photo of an Atlantic Puffin. But guess what? No puffin included in the app! One other thing ... and I am sure there are many others.. it tells me that the American Goldfinch only comes to my area to breed. Nonsense! A flock of 49-50 are at my feeders all winter long ... have been for years. And not just in winter.

Excellent way to find the right bird with 5 simple questions. No more carrying a book for us. We can take a picture and identify the birds later if we want. This is a great app.

I use this all just about every day on my walks through the North Saskatchewan River valley. The coverage is comprehensive and the bird call recordings are helpful. Species coverage isnt quite as broad as it could be for this region, but thats a minor point.

So far I am quite impressed with this app, I have been able to locate all the birds I have been seeing!

Love, love, love this app! Ive identified so many birds because of it. Points to improve: Keep track of the birds I see the same way Strava records my bike rides. This app is HUGE! It would be great if I could download a specific region.
