Ive been using the app all day to ID some new birds that showed up at my feeders recently and so far it hasnt missed. Their website, which led me to the app, is also excellent.

I love painting birds, and hang out with some serious birders. This app is a great way for beginners to start identifying birds via a simple, logical process. For me, it was a great way to begin, and it is still my first go-to. I hope Cornell continues to add to it as time goes on!

Its easy to use. Most of the time it quickly identifies the bird. A few times though, it got the the bird down to two choices. Im unsure if its me or the app that couldnt make the final decision. Ive had this app for two weeks now.

This app is amazing! I cant believe it got my bird after 3 tries! (Birds: Turkey Vulture, Red-Winged Blackbird, Canada Goose) It has bird sounds, stats, locations, AND rarity status, (e.g., Common, Uncommon, ect.) It has it all! It is a free, nice app that is fun to use!

Identifies the bird nearly every time within the first few choices. Easy to use.

Very good, except we have seen a brown thrasher regularly at zip code 19363, but it doesnt show up on Merlin search. How can you update your list if we cannot tell you what we have seen? Same with Rose breasted grosbeak. Saw it today but doesnt come up on ID search.
